How do I find out my monthly deal?

Your deal will be emailed straight to your inbox

How do I redeem my deal?

Easy. Your vouchers will be held in your online account, and can be redeemed when you visit, or online if you want to book your movie tickets in advance.

Can I buy a Friend with Benefits membership for someone else?

Absolutely! A Friend with Benefits membership makes a great gift. Send an email to info@thescreeningroom.co.nz with your contact number, and one of our team will be in touch to arrange your gift.

Do I get a membership card?

No – everything is saved in your online account, so no need to have another card cluttering your wallet.

Can I still go to other cinemas?

Of course! This is not a monogamous relationship – you’re welcome to share the love around, and visit other cinemas. You’ll probably prefer to spend your time with us, with our incredibly comfy seats, state-of-the-art sound, and impressive in-cinema menu. Let’s face it, this casual connection will be truly beneficial for you in every respect.

What happens when my membership is up?

This is a no-strings-attached relationship - we would never roll your membership over without your approval. You’ll receive an email a month before your membership is due to lapse, giving you the opportunity to renew. If you decide not to, no hard feelings. It will be released and made available for someone else.

How do I redeem my vouchers online?

Select the movie you’d like to see, add the movie tickets to your cart, along with any desired food or beverage purchases. When you ‘checkout’, your vouchers will automatically be applied to your purchase.

For example, let’s say the Movie Club offer for May is a free fries with any movie ticket. You will receive an email outlining your offer by 1 May. The “free fries with any movie ticket’ voucher will automatically be added to your online Movie Club account.

When you go online, select the movie you want to see, add it to your cart, then add a bowl of fries. When you check out, the free-fries voucher will automatically be applied to your cart.

If you don’t want to redeem the voucher at that time, no problem. Simply “un-check” it, and you can use it on another visit.

To redeem your vouchers when you visit

If you’re redeeming when you visit, simply let one of our team know that you’re a member, and they will apply the free fries voucher to your purchase.

What happens if I sign up at the end of the month?

You can sign up at any time, and your deals will start immediately. We recommend signing up early in the month, to give you as much time as possible to redeem your offer in your first month. For example, if you sign up on 28 June, you have until 30 June to redeem your June offer, so you might consider deferring your sign up until 1 July.
